Summary

CyclomaticNumberCounter measures McCabe's cyclomatic complexity for Java source files.
McCabe's cyclomatic complexity is computed as "the number of conditinal branches" plus 1.

examples/JavaGrammars/1.5/MyToken.java (in JavaCC) is also required.
CyclomaticNumberCounter.jj is developed based on examples/JavaGrammars/1.5/Java1.5.jj.

How to use

java -jar CyclomaticNumberCounter.jar source_file

It outputs the result as
"source_file name,cyclomatic number"
We can run this tool for all Java files included in a directory dir (on Linux/Unix)

find dir -name *.java -exec java -jar CyclomaticNumberCounter.jar \{\} \;

API sample:

CyclomaticNumberCounter parser = new CyclomaticNumberCounter(new java.io.FileInputStream(fileName));
parser.CompilationUnit();
int metricValue = parser.getValue();

Note: fileName is the target source file name (String), and metricValue is the metric value.
